The most popular times for appointments are early morning and late afternoon due to school schedules. Also popular are no school days. These times and days will book well in advance. Sometimes it will be necessary for your child to miss school for a dental appointment. School excuse slips are available upon request.

In general, we suggest younger children (ages 5 and under) be scheduled in the morning time. Young children are fresher and more likely to cooperate in the morning. Please avoid scheduling your child during nap times as well. We always try to be flexible with your child's appointment needs.

Confirming
We will call the day before to remind you of your appointment. If you do not wish to receive this courtesy call, please inform our staff.

Cancellations
We ask that you give 24-hour notice when canceling appointments. Since each of us can and will have conflicts, we allow one short notice cancellation (less than 24 hours) in a twelve month period. After that you will be charged a fee for the missed appointment.

Insurance billing
As a courtesy, we will bill your insurance company after each visit. Please be aware that dental insurance rarely pays 100% for all services. Payment of co-payments and deductibles are due at the time of treatment. We also request payment in full at time of treatment for all non-covered services. It generally takes 30 days for insurance to make payment. However, if there is no payment from your insurance company to our office within 60 days you are responsible for the balance in full at that time. We offer predeterminations or preauthorization if required or requested.

Insurance companies
We can bill most insurance companies, however, check your insurance plan if you are required to see a preferred provider. We are a participating provider (Premier or traditional, not PPO) with Oregon Dental Service (ODS). Currently, we do not accept Oregon Health Plan (OHP).

Payment
We accept cash, check, Visa, and Mastercard.
