Krista V. Badger, DDS, PC Dr. Badger grew up in New Mexico and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She received her dental degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. She graduated with honors- Magna Cum Laude in 1996. After practicing for a year as a general dentist in rural Colorado, she decided to pursue the specialty of pediatric dentistry. Her specialty training was completed in 1999 at the Children's Hospital of Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. Her husband, a native Oregonian, convinced her (without much trouble) to move from Buffalo to Portland in 1999. Since then, Dr. Badger and her husband, Joseph, have been living in the Portland-area with their two young children Jacob and Sarah. During Dr. Badger's pediatric dentistry residency program at Children's Hospital of Buffalo she focused her training in the areas of child behavior/psychology, hospital dentistry, emergency dentistry and treatment for the developmentally disabled children. In fact, over the years, Dr. Badger has developed a great interest in the dental management and special needs of developmentally disabled children. Dr. Badger is a proud member of the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, the Multnomah Dental Society, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Oregon Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is currently has hospital privileges at Portland's Legacy Emanuel Hospital and Kaiser Permanente Hospital. Dr. Badger is also a proud member of the Better Business Bureau. Dr. Badger enjoys reading science fiction, sewing, scrapbooking and arts & crafts. |
